The ABO is the membership organisation representing the UK's orchestras and ensembles. With around 200 members - comprising professional symphony orchestras, chamber orchestras and ensembles, period instrument groups, contemporary groups, youth ensembles and many more - we are one of the most significant voices in the UK's globally-acclaimed classical music scene, and a vibrant contributor to the UK's £8 billion music sector.

The Board is currently looking to fill two vacancies for Co-Opted Directors who can support the organisation to strengthen our impact and influence.

Applications can be accepted from the wider ABO membership (excluding Full Members) and/or external individuals or organisations beyond the ABO who bring a range of skills and experiences to complement and broaden our perspectives. They need not work directly in the arts.
