Job Summary

Casting "T.Rex and Big Dino Puppeteers," a live performance of puppets travelling all over the UK and beyond. If successful, more information will be given about in person auditions.

Job Description

Looking for someone physically fit and strong to puppeteer T.rex puppets and large dinosaurs; a fun friendly personality who loves dinosaurs and theatre to join the team of large actors. There will be opportunities to be a presenter as well as the more you can do the more work can be given; production has a very busy year ahead so could give you lots of work. If you have a driving licence and a car please let production know, this isn't necessary for the job but it certainly helps when planning logistics.

A minimum of 1 day a week during peak seasons, up to 3 or 4 days some weeks. Guaranteed expected working hours is 8 hours with regular breaks per day. Roles have a day rate of £120.

Based in the South of England but you may required to travel UK-Wide. Ideally close to our base in Orpington. (South London / Kent)

Job Requirements

Looking for people who may have stage combat, mascot suit skills, animation movement experience, or creature acting experience. Strong, fit, and good stamina are desirable. Production has one-person puppets and two-person puppets. To puppeteer the T.rex and larger 2-person puppets, you have to be between the heights of 5'7 and 6'2. Production also has riding dinosaurs and smaller arm-held dinosaurs that anyone can try.
You may be required to share a room with the same sex.
