Job Description
The Area Coordinator role supports the Programme Leader in the delivery of each training module, both online and in-person, and acts as the main conduit between the RBO Schools
Programme Manager, the Programme Leader and the Cultural Champions cohort. While the Programme Leaders takes overall responsibility for planning and delivery of session content,
the Area Coordinator provides administrative support and leads on all liaison with teachers in their assigned cohort. They may also be expected to present and/or co-lead certain aspects of the sessions dependant on interests and skill set and will undertake advance co-planning with the Programme Leader prior to each module.
The rate of pay for this work is £250 per day, for 17.5 days (up to 8 hours per day), or £4,375 for the entire contract.
Job Requirements
Strong commitment to the value of arts and cultural education
An awareness of the education landscape on a national and/or local level
Experience of the operational features of online training and familiarity with appropriate digital tools, including Zoom and Padlet
Experience of project management and facilitation, with a collaborative approach
Excellent communication and organisation skills
A collaborative approach to project management and delivery
Familiar with the content of RBO Schools Programme that accompany Cultural Champions CPD (desirable)
A local understanding of creative and cultural opportunities for the education sector
