Job Description
This mid-level role offers broad responsibility. You will oversee core administrative and operational processes, support the effective management of our London premises, contribute to development activity, and provide high-level support to the Director and Deputy Director. You will act as a central point of coordination across the organisation, supporting HR, governance, building and office administration, ensuring systems remain efficient, compliant and fit for purpose.
This is an exciting time for LUX. As we enter a period of organisational renewal, you will help strengthen internal systems, shape ways of working, and support the collaborative rearticulation of our future direction - enabling LUX to seize new opportunities while upholding our artist-centred mission and long-standing commitment to championing artists' moving image in the UK.
Job Requirements
PERSON SPECIFICATION EXPERIENCE
Essential:
At least three years' experience in a similar role or demonstrable transferable
experience.
Experience in office management, operations or senior administrative roles.
Experience supporting financial and HR administration processes.
Strong IT skills, including Google Workspace and data management systems.
Microsoft Office suite intermediate user or above.
Experience coordinating governance or compliance processes.
Excellent team working skills
Desirable:
Experience working within the art and culture sectors.
Knowledge of charity governance.
Experience in public building management, access and maintenance.
Experience of managing people.
Ability to motivate and inspire others
