Job Description
'Tradition in Transition: Youth Journeys in Heritage Crafts' is made possible with the support of The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Through this support, we are able to recruit a new post to support the project the delivery of the project. 'Tradition in Transition: Youth Journeys Through Heritage Craft' looks ahead; bridging gaps in access, knowledge, and careers for underrepresented young people aged 16-25. The project combines three regional CraftLab programmes, follow-on Craft Career Kickstarter micro-grants to support individual progression, and a co-created digital Craft Traditions Library, leaving a legacy beyond the project.
Job Requirements
We are looking for a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills, experience in socially engaged or co-produced projects, and a background in the heritage and culture sector. This is an opportunity for a proactive and motivated individual to play a key role in a growing organisation, developing new approaches, building relationships and leading on new strands of activity within a small team.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include supporting budget management, contributing to monitoring, evaluation and data collection, and helping ensure activity aligns with safeguarding, privacy, sustainability and EDI policies. The role supports reporting and communications, and plays a part in championing QEST's work to maximise impact and share learning. Working closely with the Youth Board and EDI Champions, they help shape relevant and engaging activity for new audiences, and act as a key point of contact for national partners and project stakeholders.
