Job Description
This opportunity may particularly suit actors who wish to develop and strengthen their verse-speaking, want to add a classical text to their CV, are building experience in Shakespeare, are looking to work around other professional commitments, and value working in an intimate, ensemble-focused environment. We look forward to hearing from passionate, committed actors ready to dive into one of Shakespeare's most joyful and fast-paced comedies.
Rehearses June-August (some weekday evenings and Sat. morning); runs Aug. 4 (6 p.m.), Aug. 6 (6 p.m.), and Aug. 8 (11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.) at the Henry Watson Music Library, Manchester Central Library in St Peter's Square, Manchester, England.
For consideration, submit headshot cv and suitability for role(s).
This is an unpaid project. We are committed to being transparent about this from the outset. We will create a high-quality production with professional standards of rehearsal and performance.

A monologue from Shakespeare or his contemporaries
Another comedy speech (any era)
There may be group exercises as well as speeches and some singing.
Note:
Singing will be required with the ability to hold a harmony line desired
Availability for the full rehearsal period is a priority, with working by calls where possible to reduce call time.
Full audition dates and details will be sent along with invitations to audition.
Deadline: 5pm April 24th. We encourage applications as early as possible before this date to ensure an audition is offered.
