Job Summary
Job Description
The role would suit a conservator looking to enhance their general museum and textile conservation skills. The main purpose of the role is to treat objects affected by a mould outbreak and prepare them for packing and move to our new stores. You will also be working with the installation team to support mounting. Another element of the role is to prepare more complex textiles for packing and move. We are looking for someone with experience of conserving textile objects within a heritage institution, who is able to confidently and independently solve conservation and collections care problems. We are also looking for someone who is a good team player and enjoys sharing ideas with others.
