Job Summary

FMP & Shedinburgh are seeking enthusiastic and proactive theatre and comedy lovers to join our Street Team for both programmes at Edinburgh Fringe 2026. The Shedinburgh programme consists of 40+ shows, each running for 1-3 performances, and consisting of old Fringe favourites, work-in-progress shows

Job Description

This is an in-person festival role, paid by the hour, ideal for energetic and outgoing people who feel confident approaching new people and striking up a conversation. We want people who have a genuine interest in both the Edinburgh Fringe and specifically the work of FMP/Shedinburgh, and will enjoy spreading the word about what we're up to this year.

Job Requirements

Distribute flyers for Shedinburgh and all the FMP Edinburgh shows.
Pro-actively approach people around the city about the programme.
Speak confidently and enthusiastically to potential audiences while handing out flyers.
Distribute posters and flyers to cafe , bars and other high-footfall areas around the city.
Attend on time, and engage with, daily briefings from the Street Team Coordinator about each shift.
Watch all of the FMP shows and attend Shedinburgh, to be able to personally and genuinely recommend our work.
Feed into strategy discussions about how best to speak about and promote each show in our programme.
Add flashes to posters and flyers, with guidance from the Marketing team.
Maintain flyer racks and other print displays at Shedinburgh.
Represent and advocate FMP and Shedinburgh at all times.
