**Freelance Marketing Campaign Manager (Theatre / Ticket Sales Focus)**
We are seeking a proactive freelance marketing campaign manager to drive ticket sales for *Caste Away: From Tradition to Heresy*, a solo dance-theatre production exploring lived experience, identity, and social justice through Bharatanatyam-based theatre.
Upcoming performances:
York (May 22 & 23 - priority), Manchester (June 28), Leicester (Oct 2)
This is a short-term, results-driven role focused on ticket sales (not general brand marketing). You will plan and execute a targeted 3-4 week campaign for York, with potential to continue for other cities.
**Responsibilities:**
* Plan and run a focused ticket sales campaign
* Set up/manage paid ads (Meta/Instagram) with local targeting
* Conduct outreach to universities (e.g. York, York St John), student groups, and community organisations
* Identify and engage local influencers and networks
* Coordinate social media content and posting
* Drive urgency in final sales period (last 10-14 days)
* Monitor performance and adapt strategy quickly
**Essential:**
* Experience in event/theatre marketing or similar
* Strong understanding of audience targeting and conversions
* Experience with paid social ads
* Ability to work independently and deliver quickly
**Desirable:**
* Arts/cultural sector experience
* Familiarity with UK university or South Asian audiences
**Timeline:** Immediate start (within 1 week), 2-3 week contract (York), with potential extension.
**Fee:** £25 per hour up to 5 hrs a week
