Job Description
This role supports the Front of House Operations Supervisor in delivering a safe, welcoming and smoothly run visitor experience across the Forty Hall Estate. It includes deputising as required, duty managing the venue, supervising and supporting Front of House staff, and coordinating daily operations with other teams. The role also contributes to box office administration, reporting, and collaborative working to inspire visitors and grow the Museum's audiences and impact.
This is a 12 months fixed contract for 21.6 hours per week. The core working hours for this position are 9.30am-5.30pm, Friday to Sunday, with flexibility required to support events and hires.

Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
Ensure smooth day to day Front of House operations, including reception, box office, space set up and catering.
Support and supervise Front of House staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Maintain a welcoming, inclusive and well presented public environment.
Manage box office and venue systems, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
Liaise with suppliers and contractors to keep the venue safe, clean and operational.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire and licensing requirements
Receive and manage stock deliveries and basic venue administration.
Respond to booking enquiries from hirers and suppliers.
