Job Description
The Role:
The Junior Social Media & Content Officer supports the gallery's social media output across key platforms, helping translate the exhibition programme and artist activity into clear, engaging digital content. The role focuses on drafting social copy, sourcing and adapting visual assets, moderating platforms and coordinating materials with internal teams and external stakeholders.
The position sits within the Communications team and works closely with the Senior Director, Communications; Social Media & Content Manager; Social Media & Content Officer; and Video Editor / Producer, while collaborating regularly with the Digital & Audiences team.
Job Requirements
Skills & Experience:
- Early career experience in social media, digital communications, arts marketing or a related field.
- Strong writing skills and ability to draft clear, engaging social media copy.
- Excellent copy editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Threads, YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Interest in modern and contemporary art and White Cube's represented artists.
Technical Skills:
- Design / image editing in Adobe Photoshop.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling or management tools such as Later, NapoleonCat or similar platforms.
- Confident use of Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
