Job Description

JWP are looking for an experienced Assistant Stage Manager (Book Cover) to join The Devil Wears Prada at The Dominion Theatre, London. The ideal candidate will have previous experience on a large scale West End musical, great communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to learn.

Start date: June 2026

Job Responsibilities

Supporting the Stage Manager & Deputy Stage Manager to ensure smooth running rehearsals and shows.

Good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong organisational and time management skills.

Support & manage communication within the Stage Management Team with the Props Supervisor to ensure props are sourced and maintained.

Assist and support Creatives, Production Teams, Backstage Departments throughout Rehearsals, Technical Rehearsals and show running to ensure a smooth production.

Manage and update Show Paperwork, including setting lists, cue sheets, crew plots and props trackers.

Attend and be present for Rehearsals, Production Periods, Show Running and Cover Rehearsals as required.

Learn and Cover the SL & SR ASM plots.

Learn and cover the Book.

Assisting the stage manager with administrative tasks.

Assisting with set changes and keeping track of props.

Experience in London is preferable.
