Job Description

Jacksons Lane is seeking a General Manager to join our team. As the flagship arts and cultural venue in Haringey, Jacksons Lane hosts a year-round programme encompassing the best in contemporary circus performance, arts participation activities, cultural education, and outreach work for both its community and the sector.

We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, who has a pragmatic and methodical approach to health and safety, HR, licensing and who is calm under pressure. Jacksons Lane is a vibrant and proactive organisation and so a passion for our work and continued development all aspects of the company's work is essential.

Job Responsibilities

The General Manager leads the Operations team to ensure that the building is open and accessible to the many communities who use our site: as a professional performance venue, community hub, hired venue and public cafe. This role manages and leads the Operations team ensuring the building and its facilities are maintained to the highest standard and dealing with any building issues in an efficient, speedy and effective manner. This role oversees visitor experience, commercial income, HR and policy development, and is part of the Senior Leadership Team.
