Supporting the fundraising activity of The Benedetti Foundation

Job Description

To support the fundraising activity of The Benedetti Foundation by assisting with donor engagement, research, and fundraising campaigns, helping to grow income across individual giving, trusts and foundations, and events.

This is a full-time, permanent contract, £27,000 p.a.

Job Requirements

Person Specification
Essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in fundraising or administration in a charity/arts/education setting
Strong research and IT skills
Excellent attention to detail
Experience using databases and maintaining records (GDPR compliant)
Self-motivated and collaborative
Desirable
CRM experience (Beacon preferred)
Experience working with communities or young people
Interest in music education

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Research potential donors, sponsors, grant opportunities, and event venues
Assist in preparing grant applications and reports and drafting and submitting high-quality applications to small-mid level funders'
Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team culture
Work closely with the Director of Development, Chief Executive and team
Be an active and engaged member of the team
Draft and send high-quality fundraising communications Support planning and coordination of fundraising events and campaigns
Contribute to digital fundraising initiatives
Collate statistics and data to help build our overall case for support
Support the creation of printed/digital fundraising materials to engage existing and potential supporters
Maintain supporter accreditation in line with expectations and contractual arrangements
Administer the Friends and Patrons Programme and actively making enquiries to cultivate new supporters
Maintain fundraising records and reporting
