Alongside its internal programme, the School operates a successful commercial events arm, Hemsted Park. Through this, paying audiences are welcomed to a diverse calendar of performances and experiences, hosted across a range of distinctive venues:

The Benenden Theatre, a 293-seat traditional theatre and a small studio theatre
The Centenary Hall, a 700-seat multi-use concert hall
A recital hall for audiences of up to 100 guests

In this post you will be part of a two-person team, supporting the Drama and Dance department and working independently to support Hemsted Park and the wider School needs.

You will have hands-on experience in set construction, along with a strong understanding of theatre lighting design, AV equipment and rigging. A high level of expertise in delivering live sound for performances is essential, including PA system configuration, setup and live mixing for music events. Experience in QLab is also essential, along with solid experience in programming ETC/EOC consoles.
