Job Requirements
GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications)
Experience in performing arts and theatre production, including technical roles within a producing environment and/or educational setting.
Strong technical theatre knowledge (e.g. stage management, lighting, sound, design) and understanding of production teams and networks.
Experience managing production budgets, including expenditure, and handling contracts and invoices for external practitioners.
Knowledge of health and safety processes, including writing risk assessments.
Excellent organisational, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work flexibly and accurately under pressure.
* This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check, which will be undertaken by Leeds Conservatoire for the successful candidate.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee the management, procurement, and delivery of drama productions, ensuring safe, efficient use of venues, resources, and budgets.
Manage production budgets in collaboration with the Budget Holder to achieve high-quality, cost-effective outcomes.
Lead technical delivery and coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Manage and coordinate production teams and contracted creatives to ensure successful delivery.
Implement and oversee Safe Systems of Work across productions in line with agreed standards.
