Job Description

Job Title: Digital, Design and Archive Manager
Department: Digital / Design / Archive
Reports to: Director
Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9.30am-6.00pm)

This role is responsible for overseeing the gallery's digital archive, image production, and visual content strategy. The role combines archival stewardship with creative leadership, ensuring that the gallery's visual identity, documentation standards, and digital infrastructure operate at the highest professional level.

The position manages the production, organisation, and long-term preservation of photographic, video, and design assets, and directs the creation of high-quality visual content that reflects and strengthens the gallery's public image. The role requires both technical and creative expertise.

Job Requirements

Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience managing digital archives within a gallery, museum, or cultural institution.
- Strong knowledge of digital asset management and archival best practices.
- Experience with ArtLogic database systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including: InDesign, Lightroom, Photoshop, PremierePro.
- Professional photography and video production skills.
- Experience managing freelance creative professionals.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to design efficient digital workflows.
- Excellent visual judgement and a strong understanding of gallery presentation standards.
