The museum will sit in atmospheric former market buildings - over 30,000 sqm - at the heart of one of the capital's most historic and creative quarters, Smithfield. The New Museum project is one of the largest cultural projects in Europe and will transform the museum, Smithfield and the City of London, creating a new cultural quarter for London.

At this exciting time we are seeking an exceptional safety professional as our Health and Safety Manager. You will play a critical role in ensuring a safe, welcoming and inspiring environment for our staff, contractors and visitors. This role leads the Museum's health, safety and regulatory compliance across a diverse estate that covers historic buildings, public galleries, event spaces and major capital works. Working closely with the leadership team, our external health and safety consultants and operational teams, the Health and Safety Manager champions a proactive safety culture and ensures our systems, processes and policies remain robust, resilient and aligned with best practice.
