Job Description

Dugdale Arts Centre (DAC) is seeking a creative programmer to help deliver an exciting new grassroots music programme at its venue in the heart of Enfield Town. This programme will create new opportunities for emerging talent to develop their careers and connect with audiences alongside the development of a new, vibrant live performance space at DAC.

The Programme Producer will work closely with artists, industry partners and the DAC team to deliver a 12-month live music programme, artist development activity and community engagement, helping to establish the space as a welcoming and accessible home for grassroots music and local audiences.

This is an ideal role for someone with experience in live events or cultural programming who is passionate about supporting emerging talent and building inclusive grassroots music scenes.

Job Requirements

Expected working hours: 8 hours (1 day) per week.

Job Responsibilities

Coordinate the delivery of a live music programme including events, artist takeovers and venue hire opportunities.

Shape programming which reflects the diversity of the borough and supports underrepresented artists.

Build and maintain relationships with local artists, collectives and music industry partners.

Organise an artist consultation roundtable with local musicians and young creatives.

Support the delivery of an industry masterclasses and workshop series.

Support mentoring, work experience and networking opportunities for emerging creatives.

Help create pathways for emerging artists and participants to progress into professional opportunities.

Support marketing and promotion of events and opportunities.

Collect data to measure the impact of the programme and contribute to project evaluation reporting .
