Job Description
Location: Bristol
Contract: Full time, fixed term, Equity Subsidised Theatre Agreement (MRSL 1).
Salary: Equity Subsidised Theatre Agreement (MRSL 1) CSM weekly rate, plus subsistence and travel where applicable.
Job Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the role of Company Stage Manager at a similar professional scale.
- Demonstrable experience of working with new writing.
Job Responsibilities
Duties:
The duties and responsibilities of the Company Stage Manager will include those usually expected of a professional at a regional producing theatre, including but not limited to:
- To manage and lead the Stage Management team.
- Responsible for the day to day running and administration of rehearsals and performances.
- To lead on scheduling and calls across rehearsals, tech, previews and run.
- To support the acquisition of props and furniture for the production within the allocated budget.
- To facilitate and ensure communication between all departments.
- To work within the Equity Subsidised Agreement, managing and recording company hours within allotted budgets.
- To maintain the welfare of the company and show staff.
- To work in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and in-house policies.
- To carry out all other Company Stage Manager duties associated with a first-class production at this scale.
