Job Description
Are you a technical expert with a passion for storytelling and creative technology? We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Media Technician to join our world-renowned creative provision.
In this hands-on and varied role, you will be the technical backbone of our Film & Media Production and Digital Arts departments. From maintaining industry-standard TV and Radio studios to optimising our high-spec computer suites, you will ensure our students have the tools they need to redefine the future of the creative industries.
Job Responsibilities
This role focuses on leadership and strategic management, providing line management for the Media Technician while fostering a collaborative culture. You will research technological trends to keep the curriculum current and oversee the daily operations of the Radio and TV studios.
Beyond managing equipment procurement and IT infrastructure, you will mentor students in using industry-standard tools. You'll also lead live broadcast support, manage safety compliance, and handle social media.
