Job Summary

In this role, you aren’t just making frames; you are a vital partner in an artist’s success, ensuring their vision is translated into a museum-ready reality. This is a hands-on position where every detail matters.

Job Description

- Producing bespoke and ready made frames to exact specifications
- Cutting and preparing mouldings, mountboard, glass and backing materials
- Using a CNC cutter to prepare and finish framing components and materials where required
- Assembling frames with clean joins, accurate alignment and flawless finish to high standard
- Installing fixings, hanging systems and fittings suitable for gallery and client display
- Inspecting finished framed pieces for presentation, cleanliness and alignment before QC sign off
- Working with production and workflow software to track jobs, deadlines and SLAs
- Collaborating closely with mounting, printing and dispatch teams to keep work flowing smoothly

Job Requirements

- Proven experience in fine art or photographic framing techniques
- Strong technical skills with a sharp eye for detail, finish and consistency
- Confident using saws, mount cutters, glass cutters and framing tools safely and accurately
- Experience with CNC cutting would be beneficial
- Calm, methodical and organised, especially under deadline pressure
- Comfortable using digital systems to log work and manage workflows
- Someone who takes responsibility for quality and presentation, every time
