arebyte is seeking an experienced Exhibition Producer to deliver an upcoming exhibition opening on the 17th of September 2026.
This is a freelance, project-based role (18 days) working closely with the Head of Programme, Technical Manager, and programme team.
The Exhibition Producer will coordinate the end-to-end delivery of the exhibition, translating the curatorial concept into a clear and achievable production plan. This includes developing and managing the production schedule across all phases (design, fabrication, testing, installation, opening, and deinstallation), as well as defining key milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.
Key responsibilities include developing and managing the production schedule and budget, coordinating fabrication and technical delivery, and overseeing logistics for installation and deinstallation. The role involves liaising with artists, fabricators, and contractors, sourcing suppliers, and ensuring all elements are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised and solutions-oriented, with strong experience in exhibition production and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines. A collaborative approach, attention to detail, and confidence working with technical teams are essential, along with an interest in digital art and contemporary exhibition practices.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience delivering exhibitions or complex creative projects in the arts or cultural sector
- Strong project management skills, including production scheduling, logistics, and budget development and management
- Experience working with fabricators and technical teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of exhibition production processes, including fabrication, installation, and technical delivery
- Working knowledge of AV equipment and digital technologies
Interest in digital art, new media, and contemporary exhibition practices
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of the exhibition from planning through to installation and deinstallation
- Develop and manage the production schedule, defining key milestones and resource requirements with the Head of Programme and Technical Manager
- Coordinate fabrication and procurement, liaising with fabricators and suppliers on materials, feasibility, and costs
- Organise testing processes with the technical team
- Oversee logistics including transport, installation, contractor coordination, and supplier management
- Develop installation schedules in collaboration with the Technical Manager
- Contract and schedule freelance teams and manage suppliers
- Develop and manage the production budget, track expenditure, and process invoices
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
- Lead project meetings, provide updates, and contribute to reporting and debrief
