Contract & Fee:
Fee: £750 per week + holiday pay
Accommodation provided in Edinburgh
Total Engagement: Approximately 9 weeks + travel days

Schedule:
Rehearsals: 8th-27th June
Production Week (London): w/c 29th June
Previews: 2nd-4th July
Edinburgh Run: w/c 27th July plus travel days

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all stage management operations throughout rehearsals and performances
Lead, supervise, and support the stage management team, including swing Stage Managers
Maintain the rehearsal room environment, ensuring efficiency, organisation, and professionalism
Create and manage rehearsal schedules in collaboration with the Director and production team
Take responsibility for all rehearsal and production documentation
Act as the central communication link between creative, technical, and production departments
Ensure all props, set, and technical elements are prepared, maintained, and tracked
Run technical rehearsals, cueing, and live performances to a high professional standard
Oversee the transfer of the production from rehearsal room to London performances and onward to Edinburgh

Person Specification:
Proven experience as a Stage Manager on professional musical theatre productions
Strong leadership skills with experience managing stage management teams
Experience working with swing or cover stage management roles
Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach
Confidence in running rehearsals, technical processes, and live performances independently
