Job Description
This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality sound for a diverse programme of productions, events, and community work within our unique in-the-round performance space, our 90-seat studio space, and external sites, on occasion. The role will support the delivery of all sound elements for productions, events, and visiting companies, operate sound systems during performances (including playback and live mixing), assist in the rigging, testing, and maintenance of all sound equipment, participate in get-ins, technical rehearsals, previews, runs, and get-outs, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards and best practice.
The postholder will have significant professional experience in theatre sound and musicals, be a competent programmer and operator using DiGiCo mixing desks with T software, hold strong Knowledge of QLab and radio microphone systems, experience of mic fitting and colouring, have excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills, and possess the ability to work under pressure.
This role requires regular evening and weekend work.
