Job Summary
Job Description
The Chair will hold the Board and Executive Team to
account for the Charity s mission and vision,
providing inclusive leadership to the Board of
Trustees, ensuring that each trustee fulfils their
duties and responsibilities for the effective
governance of the charity.
The Chair will also support the Director and ensure
the Board functions as a unit and works closely
with the entire Executive of the charity to achieve
agreed objectives. They will act as an ambassador
and the public face of the charity in partnership
with the Director.
The Board of Trustees of Helix Arts will appoint a
chairperson to serve for a term of 3 years. This
appointment is made for an initial term.
The Chairperson will also be a trustee of the charity
and Director of the Company and as such will be
subject to the eligibility rules required by Charity
law and Company law.
