Job Description

We are seeking an experienced LX & Video Assistant to join the production on its UK Tour.
Start Date: September
Contract Length: 18 Months
Salary: Buyout/ Competitive in line with BECTU/UKTHEATRE agreements

Job Requirements

Essential
Previous experience on a large-scale production is essential
The ability to work as part of a large team
Good communication skills

Job Responsibilities

Assist the Head and Deputy of Lighting & Video on any day-to-day changes that might impact the running of the Production
Help train new team members, deputies, and local crew, and liaise with theatre staff at touring venues to maintain consistent standards.
Carry out daily lighting & Video setup and rig checks to ensure all equipment is show-ready.
Ensure all lighting & Video equipment is cleaned, maintained, and in full working order for each performance.
Learn and confidently operate all lighting and Video department tracks as assigned, 50/50 split.
Operate the lighting desk for performances, replicating the show's lighting design.
Attend rehearsal, technical, dress and understudy rehearsals as required
Support the maintenance and repair of the lighting system in accordance with artistic
requirements, under the direction of the Head and Deputy Head of Lighting and Video, Production Manager, and Creative Team.
