ArtfulScribe is looking to appoint a writer facilitator to deliver weekly online Writing for Page and Stage sessions for adults during term time. Seeking a passionate individual with a proven track record in workshop delivery and writing to encourage, inspire, and motivate a diverse group of adults to explore their creativity through written and spoken word.

This role is a freelance contract: you will be responsible for registering as self employed if required and paying your own tax and national insurance. An up to date DBS check and public liability insurance will be required. If necessary, DBS checks can be initiated through ArtfulScribe.

Although delivery is online, the writer facilitator will need to be able to attend occasional in person training and support the group at events where required, and so preference will be given to writers who live or work in or near the Solent region.

Writing for Page and Stage is delivered in partnership with Mayflower Studios and ArtfulScribe.

This group is an online, interactive writing group for anyone aged 18+ with an interest in creative writing. During sessions the group explore writing across forms and genres, including poetry, short fiction, playscripts. Sessions include work on individual and collaborative writing pieces, created through a wide range of prompts, challenges, guided writing activities and games.

Fee: £90 per 90 minute delivery session (fee includes planning time)
Dates: Mondays 7-8.30pm during term time (minimum 10 sessions per term with a half term break)
Location: Hosted online with some in-person training and events.
