Job Summary
Job Description
We are Aerospace Bristol, the museum for flight, space, Concorde and beyond. Here, the legacy of aerospace lives on - not only in the aircraft, engines and collection we conserve, but in the stories we share.
Aerospace Bristol is a place where people connect: with history, with each other and with the ideas that shaped the modern world. By opening the doors to discovery for all, we inspire the next generation of engineers, innovators and explorers.
From biplanes to jump jets. From engines to rockets. From concepts and plans to finished machines. Step into the past, follow the story and get up close to discover something unexpected. Aerospace Bristol is where imagination takes off.
The Head of Marketing & Communications will lead Aerospace Bristol's marketing, communications and brand activity, driving visitor numbers and income. This is a key role within the museum, and an important addition to the senior management team.
The post holder will oversee all aspects of marketing and communications activity, including digital marketing, content, PR, social media, internal communications and brand development. The role will line manage the Content Manager and manage external agencies and partners.
Aerospace Bristol has ambitious plans to strengthen its digital presence, develop audience insight and CRM systems, and build a more strategic and consistent approach to communications and storytelling. The Head of Marketing & Communications will play a critical role in shaping and delivering this work.
