Job Summary

The History of Science Museum is looking for an Engagement & Content Producer to help create engaging digital and in-person experiences that connect audiences with the Museum’s collections, research, and public programme.

Job Description

You will produce digital and printed content including social media, web pages, posters, museum trails, and event materials, while supporting the delivery and promotion of public events and audience engagement activities.

This is a permanent full-time post, working 36.5 hours per week (onsite in the office 5 days a week).

Job Requirements

About You
You will have experience creating engaging content across digital and print platforms, alongside strong communication and organisational skills.

You will be confident using design software such as Canva or Adobe packages and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

You will also have an interest in audience engagement and the cultural sector, with experience of digital communications, social media, or public-facing events being advantageous.

Job Responsibilities

The role Purpose:
The role is designed to:
engage public audiences with accessible experiences and content, in person and online, that support visitors' engagement, enjoyment, and learning at each stage of the visitor journey (Discover-Act-Join-Engage-Endorse), and
contribute to the financial sustainability of the Museum.
