Theatre Porto is seeking a highly organised, proactive and relational Programme and Partnership Producer to support the delivery of Edge of Wonder - a major new place-based cultural programme developed through the wider Gold & Green vision for Ellesmere Port.
The role will play a central part in shaping, connecting and sustaining artistic and cultural development across the town, working closely with schools, artists, community organisations, cultural partners and civic stakeholders.
The successful candidate will support the planning and delivery of projects, events, commissions and partnerships across the programme, while helping maintain communication, alignment and momentum across the wider Ellesmere Port Cultural Learning Exchange (EPCLE).
This is a collaborative and varied role combining project producing, operational coordination, partnership development and programme management. Activity may include outdoor events such as Topsy Turvy, creative projects in schools and communities, artist commissions and public cultural activity across Ellesmere Port.
We are looking for someone excited by place-based cultural work and interested in how child-centred creativity, arts and culture can help shape communities, relationships and a stronger sense of place.
The role is based at Theatre Porto in Whitby Park, Ellesmere Port, with regular work across community settings, partner organisations and public spaces. Some flexible and home working is possible where appropriate.
Job Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience producing or managing artistic, cultural, community or partnership-based projects or programmes
Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities, timelines and relationships
Has strong communication and relationship-building skills
Is confident supporting both strategic partnership working and practical project delivery
Is comfortable working across organisational boundaries and collaborative partnerships
Has experience coordinating meetings, networks, events or collaborative activity
Has an understanding of place-based cultural work and child-centred practice
Shares Theatre Porto's commitment to creativity, inclusion and collaboration
Is digitally confident using Microsoft Office and shared project systems
Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the planning and delivery of the Edge of Wonder programme
Coordinating projects, commissions, partnerships and events
Building and maintaining relationships with artists, schools, cultural organisations and civic partners
Supporting collaborative networks including EPCLE, Port Programmers and StART Up
Managing timelines, logistics, reporting systems and programme documentation
Supporting communications, evaluation and reporting processes
Assisting with financial monitoring and funding compliance
Representing the programme positively in meetings, events and partnership settings
