Job Description
We are looking for a Stage Manager with experience of working with Disabled and/or Neurodivergent Artists, and an understanding of the R&D process (especially musicals) and is comfortable working with the Musical Director to support the setting up of any PA/technical equipment for the week.
Must also have experience with scheduling, timesheets and all other responsibilities usually associated with the role. A people person with excellent organisation skills is required. Someone who is First Aid and/or Mental Health First Aid trained is preferable. Someone who has experience working in a Co-Creation process with participants is also preferable. This project has been funded by Arts Council England.
The fee for this role is £631 + relocation allowance in line with ITC rates (five days).
Job Requirements
We are seeking an organised and supportive Stage Manager to work with a company made up of mostly Disabled and/or Neurodivergent Artists and Co-Creators for the R&D of a new British Musical. The role will encompass most duties usually associated with the role. This includes but is not limited to working with the director on scheduling for the week and sending out calls, the technical set-up of rehearsal room equipment (basic PA and Keyboard), calling and managing breaks, tracking hours via timesheets, working with the Producer and Lead Artist to make a risk assessment for the week and working with the creative team to collect and archive record material generated in the room. The role also includes providing pastoral support and working closely with the Creative Enabler to ensure all access requirements are understood and supported within an inclusive environment.
