Job Description
Thames & Hudson is seeking a creative, digitally savvy and commercially-minded Marketing Executive to support and plan digital campaigns across our internationally recognised art, design, architecture, photography, fashion, and visual culture publishing programme.
This role works alongside the Senior Marketing Manager to develop and execute innovative, audience-led marketing campaigns that grow brand visibility, engage global creative communities, and drive sales across print and online sales channels for key titles and campaigns. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial awareness of the publishing industry with a deep understanding of visual storytelling, cultural audiences, and digital trends, and be keen to learn and grow in the role.
Working collaboratively across editorial, publicity, sales, design, and international partners, and guided by the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive will play a role in shaping our campaigns.
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years' marketing experience, within publishing or the arts
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong administrative skills with the ability to multi-task
Strong interest in digital marketing and desire to drive self-development in this area
Strong understanding of social media strategy, audience development, paid media, SEO, email marketing, and analytics
Accurate and numerate
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience in using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva is an advantage
Confidence using digital marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Mailchimp, Klaviyo or equivalent platforms.

Job Responsibilities
Research, develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns that drive visibility, sales and ROI.
Collaborate with publicity and content teams on campaign planning across owned and paid channels.
Manage partnerships with brands, influencers and creators to expand audience reach.
Oversee budgets, invoices, reporting and post-campaign analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
Support advertising campaigns across print and digital platforms, including POS materials and sales coordination.
Work on brand, series and non-book product campaigns, including children's gifts, games and jigsaws.
Set up and optimise paid digital campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, Reddit and other platforms.
Monitor digital trends, AI and automation developments, sharing insights and monthly performance reporting with the team.
