As Project Manager, you will lead across areas of the overall programme, managing a dedicated workstream aligned with your expertise and interests. Alongside fellow Project Managers, you will work closely with the Head of Strategy and Capital Programme, and act as a key link between internal teams, funders, and external specialists, playing a vital role in turning ambition into reality.
If you have experience managing complex projects, developing briefs, coordinating consultants, and bringing creative visions and designs to life, we'd love to hear from you.
Purpose of the Role
As Project Manager, you will:
Lead and manage project packages, ensuring objectives, milestones, and budgets are met.
Develop briefs for external professional services and drive tendering and procurement processes.
Manage meeting schedules, agendas, minutes, and action logs, ensuring follow-ups and communications flow seamlessly.
Support project management systems and strategies, keeping plans, reports, and documentation accurate and accessible.
Prepare progress reports, presentations, and evidence for funders and governance, showcasing the impact of our work.
This role offers the chance to play a pivotal part in shaping a landmark capital project for Carlisle and Cumbria, contributing to cultural renewal and economic impact for the region.
