Job Description
Welcome attendees, manage event entry and assist with basic front-of-house duties during live events
Job Requirements
- Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with the public
- Punctual, trustworthy and comfortable handling basic transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Commitment: 1x or 2x a month, 1.5 hours, ongoing role but minimum of 6 months
Job Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and check tickets or guest lists
- Manage the entry door to ensure only authorized attendees enter
- Handle digital card payments for on-the-door ticket sales
- Provide basic venue information (e.g., location of toilets, set times) to guests
- Monitor crowd flow at the entrance and report any safety issues to management
