Job Summary

We create musical experiences that sit outside of conventional formats, span across disciplines and are presented in unusual locations. We’re looking for a Producer who genuinely enjoys doing things differently, and the challenge of presenting work in new and interesting ways.

Job Description

We are looking for a Producer with experience of producing medium to large scale artistic projects, to join our team for 12 months. You will be an experienced individual with wide-ranging experience of concept creation, managing R&D processes, managing and liaising across production teams, and working across different performance formats.

Working closely with the Executive Producer, our existing Producer and the wider producing team you will deliver our artistic programme which includes new commissions, touring, remounts and work for broadcast TV and recordings in the UK and internationally.

Projects for the year will be split between our existing Producer and this new Producer role. Some projects may involve working closely with the Artistic Director as the projects develop, and some will involve line producing and managing the delivery team. Paraorchestra has multiple projects, tours and events in concept stage, R&D stage, planning and delivery stage at once, and our ambitious programme is overseen and supported by our Executive Producer.

You will thrive on fast-paced working environments, on dealing calmly, flexibly and pro-actively with change and dynamic situations, and be able to create strong relationships with a wide range of colleagues and partners based on trust, respect and high quality delivery.
