Job Description
Trustees play a key role in guiding the organisation's direction, ensuring strong governance, and supporting the delivery of a dynamic programme of exhibitions, artist development, and community engagement. The Board helps ensure Site Gallery remains inclusive, financially sustainable, and representative of the communities it serves.

Job Requirements
We are seeking three enthusiastic individuals who are passionate
about the value of arts and culture in Sheffield and who bring
experience in one or more of the following areas:
Financial management or charity finance
Individual giving, memberships or donations
Commercial entrepreneurship
Legal expertise
Human Resources management
Job Responsibilities
Board members should anticipate committing 4 hours per month to the role of Trustee. You will require time to read and process papers in advance of meetings, contribute your thoughts and expertise to strategic matters outside of the meetings and where possible attend exhibition openings and public events and be positive ambassadors for Site Gallery.
The Board meets four times a year, normally in the late afternoon on Fridays for 2 hours, with the option of joining via Zoom if necessary.
We have two Committees of the Board: the Finance Committee meets quarterly to consider financial matters and risk management, and the Nominations Committee work on Board recruitment, Board development and skills audit and meet as required. All Trustees are invited to either group.
