Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Online Platforms
Build, schedule and manage exhibition, fair and quarterly email campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and timely delivery.
Coordinate advertising campaigns across online platforms, including Artsy, Artnet and Ocula.
Maintain and update the gallery website with exhibitions, news, projects, fair presentations, publications and available inventory.
Develop and propose new marketing initiatives, including podcasts, LinkedIn strategy and opportunities to expand the gallery's digital presence across relevant platforms.
Content & Communications
Coordinate content creation and outreach schedules with the Digital Content Creator and gallery management.
Support installation photography and ensure all assets are delivered, archived and utilised appropriately across channels.
Work closely with media relations to ensure alignment with the gallery's wider communications strategy.
Draft and edit press releases, exhibition texts, captions, newsletters and other digital communications, ensuring clarity, consistency and accuracy across all platforms.
Events & Outreach
Proactively propose, organise and deliver a range of events, including private views, exhibition openings, artist talks, collector previews and guided walkthroughs.
Coordinate guest lists, manage RSVPs, develop seating plans and oversee front-of-house registration and guest experience.
Collaborate closely with the sales and communications teams on event invitations, confirmations and post-event follow-up communications.
Produce sales packs, invitations, newsletters, artist dossiers and advertisements, ensuring visual and editorial consistency throughout.
Support audience development initiatives by identifying new communities, partnerships and opportunities for engagement.
Job Requirements
Required Experience & Knowledge
A strong interest in modern and contemporary art.
Previous experience in communications, marketing or public relations within the art world or a related luxury, cultural or creative sector.
Excellent written English and the ability to communicate clearly, confidently and engagingly about art.
Skills & Attributes
Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.
Excellent organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Strong visual sensibility and an understanding of brand presentation.
Confidence in external communications and relationship-building.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.
Collaborative and adaptable approach within a small, dynamic team.
Desirable Experience
Experience with Artlogic CMS.
Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
An established network of media and press contacts.
Additional language skills, particularly French or Mandarin.
