Job Description

The Creative Administrator will support the day-to-day operations of Eliot Smith Dance, working closely with the Founder and Creative Director to deliver artistic, community, and organisational projects. Key responsibilities include coordinating schedules and meetings, liaising with artists and partners, supporting the delivery of PITMAN, assisting with fundraising and grant applications, managing records and administrative systems, supporting marketing and audience development, and helping ensure the smooth running of company activities. The role requires strong organisational, communication, and project management skills, alongside a passion for dance, creativity, and community engagement.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience working within the arts, creative, education, or community sectors, with strong project management and organisational skills. They should be confident coordinating projects, meetings, events, and partnerships, and have experience working with freelance artists and diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of fundraising, grant applications, data collection, reporting, contracts, and invoice processing is desirable.
Applicants should be excellent communicators, both written and verbal, with strong marketing and social media skills. They must be able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records and administrative systems. Good IT skills, particularly with Google Workspace, are essential.
