Whole class Djembe teacher (2 hours)
Teaching whole class djembe across several years in a Camden Primary School.
Training Orchestra Conductor (Saturdays)
As part of the launch of our new orchestral strategy we are looking to appoint an experienced conductor for our new Training Orchestra. The conductor will be supported in rehearsals by a team of tutors, building skills such as sight reading and team work for young musicians who are new to ensemble playing. The conductor will work as a team with both the Junior Orchestra and Camden Philharmonic Orchestra conductors to create an inspiring, challenging, and high quality orchestral offer at our Saturday Senior Music Centre. We are looking for an engaging conductor who enjoys working with beginner level students, and who can create a supportive environment for them as they start their orchestral journey
Voice and piano tutor at Junior Saturday music school (Saturday 9am - 1pm)
Opportunity to lead a small Key stage 1 choir and one to one piano teaching. Must have experience of SEND and group vocal leading
Curriculum Music Teacher (1 - 2 days a week)
Leading music from reception to year 6 in Camden Primary Schools. (Please note that whilst we will consider tutors without QTS for this role, you must have significant classroom or whole class experience)
Whole class violin teacher (4 hours)
Opportunity to lead whole class violin across years 5 and 6 in a Camden Primary School
Music Technology Teacher (Saturdays)
Tutor to lead music technology in our Senior Saturday centre
Cello Tutor (Saturdays)
Teaching one to one lessons at our Senior Saturday Centre
Violin Tutor (Saturdays)
Teaching one to one lessons at our Senior Saturday Centre
Piano Tutor (various hours)

Job Requirements
Looking for dynamic music tutors to undertake a range of roles across Camden Schools and Camden Music's Saturday Centre.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching that drives progress
Plan and teach engaging, structured lessons so all students make measurable musical progress, regardless of starting point.
- Create inclusive and inspiring learning environments
Use diverse repertoire, adaptive teaching, and strong modelling to engage all learners, including those with SEND, and involve students in their own musical development.
- Support and track student progression
Set clear goals, assess progress regularly, keep accurate records, and prepare students for performances and exams where appropriate.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively
Maintain professional communication with schools, parents, and Camden Music, including reporting on progress and contributing to the wider programme.
- Uphold professional standards and safeguarding
Manage schedules reliably, supervise students safely, follow behaviour and safeguarding policies, and engage in ongoing reflection and CPD.
