Job Description
SET is seeking a motivated, friendly, and resourceful Infrastructure Assistant to join our team and assist in the management and maintenance of our city-wide arts centres.
This role is ideal for an applicant who enjoys practical problem-solving, is highly organised, and holds an interest or experience in construction, carpentry, building maintenance, locksmithing, or electricity. Working closely with our Infrastructure Technician, you will help maintain our spaces to support the functional needs of our Associate Studio Members, visitors, and the general public.
The Infrastructure Assistant will work closely with our team to maintain, adapt, and secure our multi-site spaces across London. The role involves hands-on delivery and reactive facility support, ensuring our art centres remain safe, functional, and accessible for our members and the public.

Job Responsibilities
Key focus areas include:
Performing basic routine maintenance duties across facilities in response to daily requirements (such as basic fixture repairs, changing lightbulbs, or fixing doors and locks).
Endeavouring to tackle and solve a diverse range of operational problems relating to the SET's provision of high quality, affordable, and accessible studios.
Helping maintain the overall centre environment - both interior and exterior, including upholding high standards of corridor hygiene.
Working collaboratively with the programme team where necessary to support the successful delivery of our public programme.
Assisting technicians with larger infrastructure projects, site builds, and reactive tasks across all SET sites.
Assisting the studio team in member management.
