About the role
We are seeking a creative and diligent evaluation producer to join the team delivering London Borough of Culture Haringey 2027. Working closely with the data officer and the programme team you will ensure that we gather the information we need at the right time to inform decisions, to fulfil reporting requirements, and to make the most of the opportunity the year offers to the people of Haringey to demonstrate the impact culture can make.
You will implement and develop the evaluation strategy, oversee monitoring, and make sense of information from different sources in order to tell the story of Haringey's LBoC year and its impact. Your work will provide the evidence base for decisions during the year, and the development of the year's legacy.
You will facilitate conversations, support, advise and train grant holders and stewards/volunteers, coordinate and support Story Collectors, procure and manage any externally commissioned evaluation work, update and oversee surveys (supported by the data officer), write reports and work with the Comms and Archive teams to tell the story of the year. You provide quarterly reports to funders and respond to developing agendas and evidence needs.
Job Requirements
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Experience of managing large-scale programme evaluation.
Experience of working with, and preparing reports to, multiple stakeholders and funders.
Experience of participatory evaluation methods.
Experience of drafting and managing surveys.
Experience of training and/or supporting volunteers or community participants.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a range of contexts, from engaging and effective report writing, to chatting with the public, to providing the most useful information to senior stakeholders.
Desirable
Experience working within local government, community engagement, arts or cultural sectors.
Experience working with diverse communities and participatory programmes.
Experience of data management and responsibilities as a data controller.
Experience of Most Significant Change or Storytelling Evaluation methods.
Experience of managing busy events.
