Job Description
The gallery is seeking an experienced, organised and motivated person to work alongside the existing team on its administration and production management. The gallery is a small bespoke operation, unique in the UK, and specialises in non-academic, self-taught and visionary artists, presenting approximately five exhibitions annually at its Marylebone HQ, alongside art fairs and special projects.
Job Requirements
6 years + relevant experience at a gallery or arts organisation;
knowledge of international art scene, museums and collectors;
proficiency with art database systems and online platforms;
excellent written, mathematical, typing and proofreading skills;
IT proficiency in all formats ie PC as well as Apple/Mac systems;
active problem solving capabilities as part of a small team.
Job Responsibilities
administrative management across all daily gallery activities;
editorial supervision and production of all written materials;
supervision of design and layout for all printed and digital materials;
organisation of all filing, archiving and data management;
production support for all gallery exhibitions and art fairs.
