The BA (Hons) Music Production engages with the practical and creative dimensions of recording, mixing, mastering, and crafting music for various media, including video games and sync. Set within a specialist arts culture that affords opportunities for exciting collaborations and innovative projects, the course offers an exceptional student experience with access to our purpose-built music facilities reflective of industry settings, that includes well-equipped recording studios, live rooms, and a 240-seat auditorium.

As a Senior Lecturer, you will help plan, design, deliver and organise the course. contributing to the academic management and pastoral oversight of students and supporting the Course Leader. You will teach and lead Music Production modules across all levels, whilst contributing more broadly to course activities including external employer engagement, recruitment activity and opportunities for showcasing student work. You will also contribute to the production related elements of the BMus (Hons) Popular Music Performance course, supporting collaboration across the subject area. Working individually and as a member of the team, you will be expected to deliver teaching within a variety of settings including lectures, seminars, studios and workshops, peer reviews and individual tutorials, as well as supporting the delivery of external gigs and student showcase activity in venues across the city.

You will have extensive knowledge and applied expertise in Music Production, across practice and theory, and contemporary knowledge and experience of music production, performance, and technology related industries relevant to graduate employability and portfolio careers.
