Spark! is a high-tech extravaganza of drumming, stunning costumes, dynamic choreography and light. We've opened the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury, warmed up the crowd at Radio 1's Big Weekend, and performed in over 40 countries. Now we're recruiting new performers for 2026.
We're looking for people with:

Excellent rhythmic skills (drummer, percussionist, dancer with great rhythm, or beatboxer)

Strong movement, stage presence, energy and stamina

A professional, reliable, team-player attitude

No previous experience necessary. These qualities matter to us far more than your CV.

You'll need to be based in north east England, within an hour of North Shields, and have some availability for up to 15 days of rehearsals across late July to mid-September.

It's paid freelance work: performance fees average £225 per day, with paid rehearsals at £135 per day (8 hour day max including lunch - usually 9am - 4.30pm)

Travel and accommodation are arranged and covered for shows away from home.
