We're looking for a creative who can help shape the historical and interview side of the project alongside the head of creative engagement and a filmmaker.

The project will run from July to November 2026 with bi-weekly sessions with young participants alongside research/ interview coordination outside of sessions where needed.

We want you to help:
Research the cultural and political history connected to Rich Mix and East London music and
community scenes

Identify and reach out to potential interviewees with the young people

Support young people with developing interview questions and storytelling ideas

Help gather archive material, references and community stories

Support the documentary narrative so it connects history with young peoples' experience today

Work in a collaborative, youth-led and community-focused way

Be present during some filming/interview sessions where needed

This isn't about making something academic but a piece of history in a creative, real way.

You will be authentic, highlight lived experience, culture and document voices properly.
