Job Description
The role contributes directly to the organisation's commercial performance through effective management of ticketing strategy, pricing and customer experience.
As Box Office & Data Manager, you will oversee the setup, management and optimisation of events within the ticketing system, ensuring pricing, availability and customer journeys are managed effectively to maximise income and accessibility.
Working closely with Marketing, Programming and other departments, you will use box office data and audience insight to inform decision-making, support campaign planning and contribute to organisational strategy.
You will lead the box office team, setting clear standards and ensuring a high-quality, efficient and welcoming experience for all customers.
Job Requirements
Experience of Spektrix or similar ticketing/CRM systems, including event setup, customer journeys and reporting. Proven experience managing a box office, ticketing, sales or customer service function within arts, cultural, entertainment, leisure or visitor attraction settings. Skilled in using audience insight, survey data and customer information to inform decision-making and organisational planning. Track record of leading, supervising and developing teams to deliver high performance and excellent customer service. Confident producing reports, analysing data and presenting insights to support business decisions. Experience supporting system development, integrations and process improvements to enhance efficiency. Strong customer focus in busy environments, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and develop Storyhouse's box office ticketing and sales function to drive revenue growth, accessibility and excellent customer experience. Oversee ticketing systems, event set-up, pricing and availability, working collaboratively with Programming, Producing, Marketing and Development to deliver effective sales, seating and pricing strategies. Identify opportunities to maximise ticket income and commercial performance, continuously improving the customer booking journey and resolving ticketing issues with internal and external partners. Ensure operations align with organisational priorities, audience development and commercial goals.
Champion the use of sales data, audience insight and customer feedback across the organisation. Produce accurate reports and performance updates, using data to identify trends, opportunities and improvements.
