Job Summary

We are looking for a Head of Marketing to join our Marketing and Communications team, working with the Head of Digital to deliver insight-led, audience-focused campaigns across platforms, while leading key team members and contributing to the Wider Leadership Team.

Job Description

As Head of Marketing, you will lead HOME's campaign strategy, shaping and delivering bold, audience-focused marketing that builds visibility, drives attendance and reflects our ambition. With a particular focus on out-of-home media, public profile and audience engagement, you will lead external promotional efforts, manage creative suppliers, and forge productive partnerships with visiting companies, PR teams and media planners.

This role works in close collaboration with the Head of Digital, with the Head of Marketing leading on messaging, campaign strategy, external promotion and out-of-home advertising, while the Head of Digital leads on digital platform management, paid media and performance insight. Together, the roles ensure HOME's campaigns are cohesive, impactful and audience focused.
You'll support and line manage the Marketing Campaign & Communications Officer to deliver powerful, inclusive campaigns that put audiences at the heart of everything we do whilst also line managing the Audience Data & Ticketing Manager ensuring campaigns and decisions are built around audience insight and behaviour.

Job Requirements

Significant experience delivering integrated, multi-channel campaigns (digital, print, OOH, PR).

Experience in arts, culture, entertainment or public-facing organisations.

Skilled in creating clear, audience-focused messaging across varied projects.

Strong collaboration with teams, partners, agencies and media.

Experience managing media buying, OOH and paid campaigns, including budgets.

Proven PR experience, securing coverage via media and influencers.

Data-driven, using audience insight and performance data to improve results.

Budget management, including spend allocation and ROI evaluation.

Experience working with funders, sponsors and partners.

Line management experience, supporting teams and delivery.

Strong knowledge of marketing strategy, audience development and segmentation.

Excellent communication, project and stakeholder management skills.

Job Responsibilities

Lead integrated marketing campaigns across HOME's programme, working with internal teams and partners.

Collaborate with Head of Digital to deliver insight-led, multi-channel campaigns with consistent messaging.

Develop clear, compelling campaign messaging for diverse audiences and artforms.

Drive campaigns to meet income targets and support audience growth.

Use audience insight and segmentation in planning and delivery.

Lead media buying, including OOH strategy, targeting, delivery and budget control.

Manage PR, agencies, media partners and influencers to build profile.

Oversee freelancers, creatives and campaign delivery.

Build partnerships with artists, producers and stakeholders to maximise promotion.

Ensure brand consistency across all marketing activity.

Analyse campaign performance and report on impact and improvement.

Line manage team, support budgeting, stakeholder collaboration and wider organisational goals.
