Job Summary

We are looking for skilled and inspiring cello and trombone tutors to deliver high-quality tuition to aspiring young musicians on Sundays in Leeds.

Job Description

YYM is a Centre for Advanced Training in Music supported by the Department for Education's Music & Dance Scheme. YYM provides access to the highest quality music tuition to promising young musicians aged 8 - 19.

There are two posts available at our Leeds centre:

Trombone tutor (2 hours per week)
Cello tutor (2.5 hours per week)

There is room to expand hours, dependent on student recruitment. Additional theory and/or musicianship teaching may be available for candidates with suitable experience.

Job Requirements

You will have experience of teaching at an advanced standard and be able to inspire and support young musicians at all stages of their development. You will be an accomplished performer and teacher on your instrument, with the ability to teach students up to conservatoire or university entrance level.
