Job Summary

We are seeking an inspirational musician and communicator to allow our school community to thrive within meaningful and sustained partnerships. The role will promote relationships within the music education sector, in our local area and further afield, for the benefit of all.

Job Description

The Music Partnerships Coordinator will work with the Director of Music to refine and further develop our strategy for music partnerships. This role will establish new music partnerships and strengthen existing ones at both local and national levels for the benefit of all participants.

Westminster pupils presently take part in a civic engagement programme on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, part of which includes making music within a variety of local organisations and schools.

Through stronger partnership, we seek to contribute to a stronger support network for music educators in the area which, in turn, will allow for more collaborative opportunities for pupils at both Westminster and in other schools.

The Music Partnerships Coordinator will work closely alongside the Director of Music, to advocate for music education in schools. They will develop sustained and meaningful partnerships for the benefit of both young people and music education professionals.
